I've got something to say!!

Jerri

I've been doing Jerri Blank impressions at work, which confuses my co-workers. They've never seen the show, so they don't get it. Doesn't stop me.

Anyway, a computer kerflooey is keeping me from doing anything online at home. You don't realize how dependent you are on computers until suddenly you don't have one. So I'm reduced to sneaking in posts and blog-reading during work time. Heh.

Just popping in to say I'm still around, probably checking you out on Facebook or Twitter, though I may not be able to reply.

So much for that.

So right when I decide to start posting again, my computer is no more.

Apparently Cheburashka learned of a new website from her friends, and went on without my approval. The little heifer darling kept it hidden on a separate window, and each time I checked would flip back to Club Penguin. She was busted when the computer locked and started buzzing loudly, and I haven't been able to use the computer since. It rejects all attempts at virus-scanning, and won't even let me erase the damn hard drive and start over. Conficker? Who knows. But this is one meanie of a virus.

And it kind of makes no sense to punish her by not allowing her to use the computer since there is no computer to use.

So. Cue the crickets, and I'll return when I can.

Hunh.

Two months since my last post, eh? That's gotta be my personal best.

I should probably pay more attention to this blog, instead of having old-school Freestyle battles on Facebook. Or at least learn to do both.

Inauglaration? Inagarualation?

Cheb is killing me, trying to pronounce inauguration. She reported that all her classmates cheered when President Obama took the oath of office. (So did I, watching in my office.)

I think this may have been the first inauguration that I've seen. Never cared as much before. It was great to watch- wish I had been there, but glad I got to be warm. And yes, I watched it all again when I got home.

Now, I'm not a church-going woman. But if I were, I'd be front and center at Rev. Lowery's church.

Wearing Aretha's hat.
