And now I can get crackin' on the Noro. Here's the sweater:

I took a pic of myself wearing it, but I look like hell. I feel like hell too: this cold I've been fighting off for a week has laid me low. Good thing I don't have class again until Tuesday. I've been in bed all morning knitting and watching movies (Lost in Translation, The Children's Hour, and rewatching Satin Rouge). And eating Cheerios with soy milk and banana. I really want soup, but not up to cooking. Cutting up the banana was strenous enough.
I got the new Rowan magazine yesterday. S'alright. I do like the coats made with Summer Tweed, though I'm not likely to make them. And there's a design called Iris. I don't like it- never could get with boleros. Why couldn't it be a really fab design, so there'd be an Iris knitalong somewhere??
I think I'm delirious. Back to the sofa!

Hey, feel better! Hope it helps to know that Banff is a thing of beauty - - that yarn is just amazing! How much Manos did it take, if you don't mind my asking?

Banff is gorgeous! I bet it looks wonderful on you. The sweater of fate? ("yarn of fate" makes me giggle every time.) I hope you get to feeling better soon, but hey--nothing wrong with a couple days of movie watching and knitting.

I am hapy with the way it came out: fits perfectly, and I looove Manos! I used just under 7 skeins of it, and I'd made some adjustments (shortened the sleeves and the collar). I made the smallest pattern size.
